Decode Na Tra Movie: Reveal the full secret of the antagonist

Na Tra: Demon Sea Turmoil – The animated masterpiece causing ticket frenzy

After conquering global box office with over 2.2 billion USD in revenue, Na Tra: Demon Sea Turmoil officially released an online screening version and quickly attracted a large Vietnamese audience. Although the next part was expected to be released in theaters but did not materialize, this web version partly helps fans cool down and opens up a surprising ending for Na Tra’s journey.

Summary & analysis of the ending of Na Tra: Demon Sea Turmoil

The film revolves around the final challenge on the “ascension” journey of Na Tra: finding a way to revive his companion Ngao Bing thanks to the Seven-Colored Lotus (Seven-Colored Treasure Lotus). Under the guidance of Thai At Chan Nhan, Na Tra sets off to Jade Emperor Palace to meet Vo Luong Tien Nhan and participate in a series of imperial examinations.

Meanwhile, the Divine Hunter secretly releases the Four Great Dragon Kings – including Ngao Quang (Ngao Bing’s father) who was imprisoned under the seabed. At this time, Na Tra’s hometown was devastated with traces left by the Dragon King; his parents mysteriously disappeared. Believing he lost all his loved ones, Na Tra is determined to complete the ascension mission and together with Vo Luong Tien Nhan, destroy the Dragon Clan – despite opposition from Ngao Bing.

Climax & unexpected ending in the film

The climax comes when Vo Luong Tien Nhan reveals himself as the true villain, the mastermind behind all tragedies. He launches an attack on Na Tra’s hometown to prevent the Dragon King from refining the elixir to increase his power. Na Tra’s parents are still alive but captured; he witnesses his mother being taken into the elixir furnace.

In that painful moment, the fire in the furnace becomes an opportunity to regenerate Na Tra’s body – helping him perfect the form of the “full armor” warrior. Together with Ngao Bing and the Dragon King’s army, they unite to fight against Vo Luong Tien Nhan. Although the villain is not completely destroyed, he is forced to retreat and return peace to the Dragon Palace.

The film ends with a scene where Ngao Bing’s father agrees for his son to continue accompanying Na Tra on the journey to explore the new three realms.

The future of Chinese animated universe: will there be “Na Tra 3”?

After this great success, many fans expect the director to continue developing the Chinese mythical universe with the next part titled Na Tra 3. The new part is predicted to continue the confrontation between the main characters and the forces of Vo Luong Thien Ton as well as expand into the exciting Feng Shen Bang battle previously mentioned.

Although there is no official announcement about the release date of the third part yet, if the interval between parts remains the same as before, it is highly likely that “Na Tra 3” will appear during the 2029 Lunar New Year.
